Once again this year, math students in Grades 7 to 10 will have access to live, interactive, online math help through the expansion of a pilot project funded by the Ministry of Education. Homework Help is free, real-time math tutoring by certified Ontario teachers.
Some private student information (OEN, birth date, grade and math course code) is provided to the Independent Learning Centre. We wish to provide parents/guardians with the opportunity to opt-out of sending this information if they have concerns (if the information is not sent, that student will not have access to the "Ask a Teacher chat rooms". Attached is a notice to parents/guardians that we need you to distribute to all grade 7 - 10 students. It requests that parents inform the Principal by September 23 if they do not wish to have their child's information shared - please forward any of these names to Steve Wynen.
