Theatre from the Ground Up!

2010 Summer Drama Camp ~ July 5-9, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Children enrolled in this summer activity will be working together to produce a piece of musical theatre. Over the course of one week, participants will be exploring elements of theatre (blocking, improvisation, character development and character interaction) as well as strengthening their singing and dancing skills. Students will also have the opportunity to draw upon their abilities in other areas - whether it be providing incidental music for scenes, designing backdrops or managing activities backstage. There will be a performance at the end of the week. If your child enjoys the spotlight then he or she will love this week of theatre activities.

Must be entering grade 4,5 or 6 in Sept. 2010
