Ensuring the safety of your child while at school, as well as traveling to and from school, is of upmost importance to us. We need your help, by following our board and school policies, to ensure the safety of each student at APS.

Kindergarten Registration at Arthur PS

Kindergarten registration girls and artwill be held during the week of February 6-10th. If you have a child or know of someone who was born in 2007 for Senior Kindergarten or 2008 for Junior Kindergarten, please come to the school to register or call 519-848-3793.
You will need to bring with you, birth certificate, immunization records and proof of address.

Ball on treeNovember has been a very busy month at APS and December looks to be just as eventful. No doubt the students will be looking forward to the arrival of snow, where parents are likely dreading the trials of snow removal and dangerous driving. Please pay special attention to the information regarding inclement weather days and how that may effect your child’s school day.

wreathRemembrance Day is always a very important day in the life of our school, our community and our country. This year the staff and students in JK - Grade 8 will once again join the Arthur community at the Cenotaph to participate in our community's Remembrance Day Service.

Bus Information

kids running for the busPlease let us know, through a note or a phone call, if your child will not be on the bus at night. Students are not allowed to change buses or go home with other students on their bus.

Please review with your child the Code of Conduct for riding buses.

Parent Conference Day

On November 10th your child will bring home their Progress Report. This report will outline how your child is doing at this time, and outline the next steps to keep them moving in the right direction.

On the November 18th, Parent Conference day, all parents will be invited to come to the school to meet with their child’s teacher. This will be an excellent time to discuss the next steps for improvement for your child to continue to progress.
