February Newsletter
On February 18th you will receive the Provincial Report Card for first term. Immediately you will notice that there is an emphasis on Learning Skills and Work Habits, as the comments and evaluation appear on the first page. On the second and third page you will see the curriculum area for evaluation alongside comments. The comments will highlight each student’s strengths, as well as specific ideas on how the student will be able to improve his/her results in that subject area.

Welcome to Centennial Hylands Elementary School!
We are very proud of our school and we hope that you, too, will come to view it as an important part of your lives.
Our staff work extremely hard to provide a programme suitable to the needs our of students and care about each student as an individual.
We believe that the partnership between home and school is a critical one. By working together, we will be able to provide a challenging educational program within a positive, safe and supportive learning environment. We encourage you to contact the school if you have any questions or concerns whenever the need arises.
We would encourage your participation in the work of Centennial Hylands Elementary School Council which meets monthly or through volunteering at the school.
