Welcome BACK!

As we begin the month of February we continue to build upon developing and embedding character traits into our daily lives. Throughout this month we will focus, once again, on RESPONSIBILITY.

Responsibility involves being accountable for your actions, thoughts, and feelings and following through on your personal and community commitments. Some examples of what this looks like for us at Alma P.S. include; taking responsibility for and managing own behaviour, arriving at school on time, writing important information in agendas (primary grades receive some coaching and modelling, and junior students need to take ownership; demonstrating independence and responsibility to get the job done), ensuring the agenda moves between school and home, delivery of school newsletters to home, completing assigned tasks, demonstrating positive citizenship, and helping to keep our school and playground areas safe.

Kindergarten Registration – September 2012

We will be having our Kindergarten Registration here at Alma Public the week of February 6 – 10th, 2012. If you know of any children in your neighbourhood that are at school age please have them call the School
JK – students should turn 4 years of age on/before December 31, 2012.
SK – students should turn 5 years of age on/before December 31, 2012.
